Description

Mouse anti-human neuron-specific enolase antibody recognizes human neuron-specific enolase (NSE), also known as enolase 2, gamma enolase, 2-phospho-D-glycerate hydrolase or neuron Enolase. NSE is a protein of 433 amino acids ~ 47 kDa, a glycolytic enzyme, expressed in neuronal tissues and released due to damage to the nervous tissues. Elevated serum levels of NSE are found in patients with tumors such as neuroblastoma.
