Description
Integrin β7 is a 130kD glycoprotein, also known as integrin βp. It is a member of the Ig family. Related to the α4 or αE chain of integrin, β7 forms α4/β7 or αE/β7 heterodimers. α4/β7 (CD49d/β7, LPAM-1) is expressed in most peripheral lymphocytes, a small number of thymocytes and bone marrow progenitor cells.
