Product Overview

Description

Rat anti-substance P antibody, clone NC1 / 34 recognizes the COOH end of substance P. P OH is a short peptide neurotransmitter that regulates the excitability of nociceptive neurons in the dorsal horn. It is known to play a role in various physiological activities, such as pain transmission, vomiting reflex, saliva secretion and smooth muscle contraction.
The reactivity of eledoisin is 5%. It does not react with Leu or Met-enkephalin, somatostatin or β-endorphin.

Immunogen

Substance P conjugated to Bovine Serum Albumin.
