Product Overview

Description

AGTRL1 is Gi/Go-coupled GPCRs expressed in the heart, coronary artery, aorta, internal mammary artery, pulmonary artery and saphenous vein, it also expressed in lung, kidney and adrenal gland. In AGTRL1 receptor knockout mice baseline blood pressure is not changed compared to wild-type animals. Vasoconstrictor responses to angiotensin II however are significantly more pronounced in the knockout animals.

user
Excellent
We have been able to generate high-quality data and accelerate our research with this cell line
As a GPCR researcher, I highly value the quality and performance of the CHO-K1/AGTRL1/Gα15 cell line. The cells exhibit reliable receptor expression and functionality, making them ideal for our screening assays. The Gα15 coupling enhances the sensitivity of our assays, allowing us to detect subtle changes in receptor activity with confidence.
Q&As
Can this cell line be adapted for use with other GPCRs, or is it specific to AGTRL1?
While the CHO-K1/AGTRL1/Gα15 stable cell line is specifically designed for AGTRL1, the underlying CHO-K1 cell line can be adapted for other GPCRs. This involves generating new stable cell lines with the desired GPCR and ensuring proper coupling with appropriate signaling proteins. If you require a different GPCR, we can assist with creating customized cell lines tailored to your specific research needs.
What are the storage and handling recommendations for this cell line?
The CHO-K1/AGTRL1/Gα15 stable cell line should be stored in liquid nitrogen for long-term storage. For short-term handling, maintain the cells at 37°C in a humidified incubator with 5% CO2. When thawing, quickly transfer the cells to a pre-warmed culture medium and follow proper cell culture protocols to ensure the health and stability of the cell line.
What support is available if I encounter issues with this cell line during my research?
We provide comprehensive support for customers using the CHO-K1/AGTRL1/Gα15 stable cell line. Our technical support team is available to assist with any issues you may encounter, including troubleshooting experimental protocols and optimizing assay conditions. We also offer guidance on cell culture practices and can provide additional resources or advice based on your specific research needs to ensure successful outcomes.
