Description
Mouse anti-human TLR7 antibody, recognizes human TLR7 (toll-like receptor 7), a 121 kDa type I transmembrane protein belonging to the toll-like receptor (TLR) family. TLR7 is mainly expressed in the spleen, lung and placenta (Chuang et al., 2000). TLR is a highly conserved protein. By recognizing the unique molecular patterns expressed by infectious agents, they play a key role in activating innate immunity. TLR7 recognizes the interaction with influenza, HIV-1 (human immunodeficiency virus type I) and Sendai virus-derived single-stranded RNA (ssRNA) and some siRNA, thereby activating the active kinase (IRAK) associated with the MyD88 / interleukin-1 receptor) Signaling pathways, and the production of pro-inflammatory signaling molecules (Diebold et al. 2004).
