Features

The HiTector CCK1 contains U2OS cells stably expressing unlabeled human cholecystokinin A receptor (CCK1). The Creative Biolabs HiTector CCK1 cell line is designed to test compounds or analyze their ability to modulate cholecystokinin A receptors. When the agonist binds to CCK1, it activates the G protein, which in turn triggers a cellular response mediated by the second messenger (calcium). This cell line has been validated by measuring the increase in calcium in the cytosol. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring of the CCK1 activation process in high-throughput screening.

Assay Description

The CCK1 Cholecystokinin Receptor Assay from Creative Biolabs allows the detection of compounds, or analysis of their ability to modulate CCKAR. When the ligand binds to CCKAR, it activates the G protein; this in turn triggers a calcium-mediated cellular response. Binding CCK to CCKAR induce intracellular calcium mobilization and PKC activation through PLC-IP3 and DAG pathways, respectively.

CCK1 Cholecystokinin Receptor Assay includes the measurement of calcium concentration in the cytoplasm. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring of the CCKAR receptor activation process in high-throughput screening.
