Features

The HiTector PTGFR contains U2OS cells stably expressing unlabeled human prostaglandin F receptor (PTGFR). Creative Biolabs' HiTector PTGFR cell line is designed to determine compounds or analyze their ability to modulate prostaglandin F receptors. When the agonist binds to PTGFR, it activates the G protein, which in turn triggers a cellular response mediated by the second messenger (calcium). This cell line has been validated by measuring the increase in calcium in the cytosol. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring of the FP activation process in high-throughput screening.

FP Prostanoid Receptor Assay

Assay Description

The FP Prostanoid Receptor Assay (PTGFR) from Creative Biolabs allows the detection of compounds or analysis of their ability to modulate PTGFR. When the ligand binds to PTGFR, it activates the G protein; this in turn triggers calcium-mediated cells Response. The combination of agonists and PTGFR induce intracellular calcium mobilization and PKC activation through PLC-IP3 and DAG pathways, respectively.

FP Prostanoid Receptor Assay includes the measurement of calcium concentration in the cytoplasm. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring of the PTGFR receptor activation process in living cells.
