Product Overview
Description
A spontaneously immortalized wild-type Schwann cell line established from the dorsal root ganglion (DRG) and adjacent peripheral nerves of C57BL6 mice. Immortalized C57BL6 mouse Schwann cells (1970C3) retain the characteristics of Schwann cells, such as the production and secretion of various neurotrophic factors and cytokines (NGF and GDNF) that promote the survival of neurons.
