Features

FSHR/HEK293 contains HEK293 cells stably expressing unlabeled human follicle stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR), and the construction of the CRE-tGFP reporter gene. The Creative Biolabs FSHR cell line is designed to test compounds or analyze their ability to modulate follicle-stimulating hormone receptors. When the agonist binds to FSHR, the G protein is activated, which in turn triggers a cellular response mediated by the second messenger (cAMP). This cell line has been verified by measuring tGFP fluorescence produced by a sensitive cAMP response element (CRE). The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring of the FSHR receptor activation process in high-throughput screening.

FSH Functional Assay

Assay Description

Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) is one of the gonadotropins and luteinizing hormone. It regulates the body's development, growth, pubertal maturation and reproductive processes. The FSH functional assay from Creative Biolabs allows the measurement of activity and recombinant human FSH (rhFSH) The effectiveness of.

To analyze the activity of rhFSH, we used a stable cell line that stably expresses Follicle Stimulating Hormone Receptor (FSHR). This cell line also expresses the cAMP-Maxensor biosensor, which increases its fluorescence intensity when FSHR is activated. When rhFSH binds to FSHR, it activates the G protein, which in turn triggers a cellular response mediated by the second messenger (cAMP). This cAMP-Maxensor FSHR cell line measures the increase of cAMP in the cytoplasm in a dose-response manner in the presence of rhFSH.

Mycoplasma Testing

The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.

Sterility Testing

Sterility testing was performed in accordance with USP and EP regulations. All of our sterility testing is performed in an isolator or clean room environments. The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.

Genetic Stability Testing

Cell genetic stability study was perfomed under ICH guidelines. We provide guidance on the appropriate testing program upon your requirements.
