Expansion of the CAG repeat in the huntingtin gene (HTT) produces a mutant version of huntingtin, the presence of which is toxic to brain cells, causes cell death and underlies the progressive pathology of Huntington's disease. We have six lines from Huntington's disease patients. They are excellent models for studying disease and developing potential treatments for testing
