Cell Lines
Cell lines are cells that can be continuously cultured and propagated in the laboratory. They are commonly used in research for studying cell behavior, disease modeling, drug screening, and vaccine production.
In addition to immortalized cell lines, Creative Biolabs also provides a range of Tumor Cell Lines, Transfected Stable Cell Lines, GPCR Cell Lines, and Ion Channel Cell Lines for neuroscience research. Please contact us to get more information about any cell line products or services.
Tumor Cell Lines
Tumor cell lines are derived from cancerous tissues and are able to replicate endlessly, unlike normal cells which have a limited lifespan. These cell lines exhibit characteristics such as immortality, migration, and loss of contact inhibition.
We offer decades of brain tumor cell lines from humans and animals. Related brain tumors include Glioma, Neuroblastoma, Astroblastoma, Glioblastoma, Meningioma, and Oligodendroglioma.
Transfected Stable Cell Lines
Transfected stable cell lines play a crucial role in advancing scientific research in fields such as pharmaceuticals, compound testing, and gene therapy. These cell lines are engineered by introducing foreign DNA into the cell's genome, allowing for the sustained expression of specific proteins over an extended period.
We are committed to providing a broad range of cell lines by lentiviral transfection or CRISPR/Cas9 technology to accelerate your research.

GPCR Cell Lines
There are several GPCR cell lines commonly used in neuroscience research, including HEK293 cells, CHO cells, and SH-SY5Y cells. These cell lines are engineered to overexpress specific GPCR receptors, allowing researchers to study their function and potential therapeutic targets in the context of neurological disorders and diseases.
Ion Channel Cell Lines
Ion channels are membrane proteins that allow ions to pass through pores in the cell membrane, and they play a key role in the electrical signaling of the nervous system. Ion channels are targets for drugs used to treat neurological conditions, as well as addictive drugs.
We are dedicated to offering various human channel stable cell lines to assist drug screening, such as sodium, potassium, calcium, HCN, and GABAA receptors.
