Assay Description

Creative Biolabs' ETA endothelin receptor test allows compounds to be tested or analyzed for their ability to modulate EDNRA. When the ligand binds to EDNRA, it activates the G protein, which in turn triggers a cellular response that contains calcium. Our EDNRA test uses Endothelin I as a positive control to measure changes in cytoplasmic calcium concentration. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring of the EDNRA activation/inhibition process in high-throughput screening.
