Description

The rat anti-Mouse CD11b antibody recognizes CD11b, also known as the integrin αM chain. CD11b is involved in various adhesion interactions of monocytes, macrophages and granulocytes and mediates the uptake of complement coating particles.
The rat anti-Mouse CD11b antibody can immunoprecipitate heterodimers of ~165 and ~95 kDa. This clone also exhibits various functional properties, and is reported to inhibit adhesion in vitro and inflammation recruitment in vivo. The rat anti-Mouse CD11b antibody also inhibits delayed-type hypersensitivity, enhances bacterial infection and inhibits type 1 diabetes.
