Description
Mouse anti-human acetylcholine receptor β antibody, clone B3 has uniform high-affinity binding to the β subunit of nicotinic AChR, which is a complete membrane and cholinergic receptor, consisting of four subunits: α, Δ, γ (immature muscle) and ε (mature muscle).
The combination of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and AChR causes conformational changes that affect all subunits and initiates the opening of ion conduction channels across the plasma membranes of certain neurons and neuromuscular junctions.
