Features

The HiTector PTGER1 contains U2OS cells, which can stably express the unlabeled human prostaglandin E 1 receptor subtype E1 (PTGER1). Creative Biolabs' HiTector PTGER1 cell line is designed to test compounds or analyze their ability to modulate the prostaglandin E1 receptor subtype E1. When the agonist binds to PTGER1, it activates the G protein, which in turn triggers a cellular response mediated by the second messenger (calcium). This cell line has been validated by measuring the increase in calcium in the cytosol. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring of PTGER1 activation in high-throughput screening.

Assay Description

The EP1 Prostanoid Receptor Assay (PTGER1) from Creative Biolabs allows the analysis of compounds, or their ability to regulate PTGER1. When the ligand binds to PTGER1, it activates the G protein; this in turn triggers calcium-mediated cells Response. The combination of agonist and PTGER1 induces intracellular calcium mobilization and PKC activation through PLC-IP3 and DAG pathways, respectively.

EP1 Prostanoid Receptor Assay includes the measurement of calcium concentration in the cytoplasm. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring of the PTGER1 receptor activation process in living cells.
