Description

The rat anti-Mouse CD68 antibody recognizes mouse megasialin, a highly glycosylated transmembrane protein and the murine homologue of human CD68, which is classified as unique due to the presence of lysosomal-related membrane proteins A member of the Scavenger Receptor (ScR) family. (LAMP)-like domain CD68 is considered to be a pan-macrophage marker, mainly in the intracellular lysozyme of tissue macrophages/monocytes (including Kupffer cells, microglia, histiocytes and osteoclasts) CD68 is expressed in the body, and to a lesser extent by dendritic cells and peripheral blood. CD68 is expressed in many types of tumors, including some B-cell lymphomas, adult NK lymphomas, melanomas, and granulocytic sarcomas (Bone marrow) sarcoma, hairy cell leukemia, and kidney, urinary and pancreatic tumors, can be used in cancer research to prove the existence of mouse anti-mouse CD68 antibodies, which have been used in many mouse models to identify CD68 in immune cells. Use frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue for histochemical studies.
