Product Overview

Description

Mouse anti-growth cone antibody recognizes a protein originally called 2G13P, which is located on the growth cone. Subsequent studies determined that the protein was 40S ribosomal protein SA, also known as 37 kDa laminin receptor precursor or laminin receptor 1. 40S ribosomal protein SA is a membrane of 296 amino acids ~ 37 kDa, which is assembled And/or the required cytoplasmic and nuclear proteins. Or the stability of the 40S ribosomal subunit. In vertebrate evolution, this molecule has acquired a second function as a laminin receptor. It is expressed in cone cells especially in the filamentous feet and plate seborrheic of the developing rat central nervous system and embryonic neurons in culture. The 40S ribosomal protein SA interacts with the filamentous actin cytoskeleton and may therefore participate in the movement of growth cones. The mouse anti-growth cone antibody has been used to detect growth cones by immunohistochemistry and to identify 40S ribosomal protein SA in chicken and rat samples by Western blotting.
