The antibody binds to IP-10 with high affinity, inhibits the binding of IP-10 to its receptor, inhibits IP-10 induced calcium flux and inhibits IP-10-induced cell migration. The antibody provides methods for treating various inflammatory and autoimmune diseases by inhibiting IP-10 activity.
