Neuropathy Pain Drug Discovery Service
Creative Biolabs is an innovative company with extensive experience in neuropathic pain (NP). With an advanced platform, Creative Biolabs focuses on providing customized services to clients, especially NP animal modeling as well as in vivo and in vitro assays to advance your NP drug discovery projects.
Introduction to NP
Neuropathic pain (NP) is chronic and described as a shooting or burning pain or a sharp and sudden electric shock that goes away on its own, which is usually caused by lesions or damage to the central or peripheral nervous system. The most common causes of NP can be grouped into four broad categories: disease, injury, infection, and loss of limb. The main causes associated with NP mainly involve metabolic disorders, viral infection-related neuropathy, chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, traumatic nervous system injury, inflammatory diseases, and hereditary neuropathy. In patients with NP, the perceived pain is often spontaneous and manifests without stimulation. NP can be debilitating, in addition, people with NP become very sensitive to touch or cold. This pathological condition has a great impact on the quality of life and psychological state of patients. At present, drugs are still the main method of NP treatment, but the effect is not ideal, since the drugs cannot repair damaged nerves or promote nerve regeneration. Therefore, it is urgent to find new drug candidates.

Services at Creative Biolabs
As a leader in neuroscience, Creative Biolabs is committed to providing a diverse range of animal models to customers around the world. The NP animal model has two main goals. First, pain mechanisms are identified to identify potential targets for drug development. Second, animal models are used to predict the clinical efficacy of new treatments. Based on our advanced platform and dedicated team, we are confident in providing you with cost-effective animal models and diverse assays to facilitate the progress of your NP drug discovery project.
