Product Overview

Description

The antibody recognizes delta-like protein 1 (DLL1), one of the five main ligands of the Notch signaling pathway, and is activated by the binding of specific ligands to Notch receptors Notch 1-4. Notch signaling pathway is an evolutionary conserved pathway in multicellular organisms. It is essential for cell-to-cell communication in basic developmental and physiological processes (including regulation of neurons, heart and endocrine development, stem cell hematopoiesis, thymic T cell development, and Tumor progression and suppression. The Notch receptor connects with its specific ligands Jagged1 (CD339), Jagged2, Delta-like protein 1 (DLL1), DLL3 and DLL4, on physically adjacent signal-receiving cells, through the ADAM family of metalloproteinases and gamma- The protein induces proteolysis of the receptor. The secretin complex in the transmembrane domain releases the Notch intracellular domain (NICD), which translocates to the nucleus. Subsequent signal transduction occurs through the complex cascade of CSL-NICD-Mastermind (canonical pathway) or the complex signal cascade of NF-kappaB-NICD and CSL-NICD-Deltex (non-canonical pathway). The canonical pathway inhibits the differentiation of stem cells or progenitor cells, while the non-canonical pathway promotes differentiation.
