Description

The rat anti-human EGF receptor antibody recognizes the human epidermal growth factor receptor (EGF-R), which is overexpressed in a high proportion of breast cancer cells and many other cancers. The high level of EGFR expression is usually associated with advanced disease and poor prognosis. The rat anti-human EGF receptor antibody binds to epitope B of EGFR with an affinity of 6.7 x 10⁻⁹M.
