Description

Mouse anti-human CD283 antibody, recognizes human and canine TLR3, also known as CD283. TLR3 is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family and acts as a receptor for double-stranded (ds) RNA. TLRs are expressed on the cell surface and endocytic compartments, and recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMP) expressed on pathogens. They also initiate cell signaling to induce the production of cytokines necessary for innate immunity and subsequent adaptive immunity.
