Product Overview

Description

Brain uptake of therapeutic antibodies is severely limited by their size. To achieve enhanced BBB crossing, Creative Biolabs developed a BBB shuttle antibody platform by utilizing the endogenous macromolecule transportation pathway, known as receptor-mediated transcytosis (RMT). The engineered antibody-based carrier is believed to significantly to increase the macromolecule brain entry to combat CNS diseases.
Notes: The BBB antibody is made-to order and available in a customized format. Please don't hesitate contact us for more details.

Figure 4 shows the results of an alanine scanning mutagenesis experiment used to determine the epitope of α-synuclein bound by the 9E4 antibody.

The upper part of the panel shows the protein of full-length α-synuclein (wild-type or individual point mutations of residues 118-126, as indicated) stained with the 9E4 antibody (left panel) or the control antibody 1H7 (right panel). blot. The lower part of the figure shows the epitope of α-synuclein bound by the 9E4 antibody.

WB

Figure 5 shows the results of an alanine scanning mutagenesis experiment used to determine the epitope of [alpha]-synuclein to which the 5C1 antibody binds.

The upper part of the panel shows full-length α-synuclein (wild-type or a single point mutation in residues 118-126, as indicated) stained with the 5C1 antibody (left panel) or the control antibody 1H7 (right panel). Western blot. The lower part of the figure shows the epitope of α-synuclein bound by the 5C1 antibody.

Figure 6 shows the results of an alanine scanning mutagenesis experiment used to determine the epitope of α-synuclein bound by the 5D12 antibody.

Figure 7 depicts a ball-and-stick model of the amino acids of α-synuclein near the binding site of the 9E4, 5C1 and 5D12 antibodies.
