Dystrophin, exon 45-ASO is an antisense oligonucleotide of the oligomeric subclass that targets exon 45 of the dystrophin pre-mRNA. By inducing exon 45 skipping, it restores the open reading frame, resulting in the production of an internally truncated yet functional dystrophin protein.
