Description

The Mycoplasma detection kit is engineered to swiftly detect mycoplasma infections in cell cultures within a timeframe of less than two hours. It is capable of identifying mycoplasma strains from both cell lysates and the culture medium. The kit exhibits a high sensitivity, able to detect as low as 10-20 copies of target DNA, corresponding to less than 10 mycoplasma species. It consists of probes for the most prevalent mycoplasma species encountered, including M. Hyorhinis, M. Arginini, M. Orale, M. Fermentans, A. laidlawii, which collectively account for 98% of tissue culture contaminations. Moreover, the Mycoplasma detection kit can identify mycoplasma morphologies such as asexual bodies and spirochetes, encompassing additional genera beyond the predominant species.
