Description

Bovine adrenomedullary dodecapeptide (BAM 12P). This opioid peptide (k-opioid receptor) is a COOH-terminal extended bovine adrenal medulla Met-enkephalin dodecapeptide with the structure Tyr-GlyGly-Phe-Met-Arg-Arg-Val-Gly- Arg-Pro-Glu-OH. This is a 12 amino acid fragment of proenkephalin A; the precursor of enkephalin.
