Description

The mouse anti-NFκB inhibitor alpha antibody recognizes the NFκB inhibitor alpha, also known as I-κ-B-alpha (IkB-alpha) and the major histocompatibility complex enhancer binding protein MAD3. NF kappa B inhibitor α is one of the seven members of IkB inhibitor proteins that have been identified so far. NF kappa B inhibitor α inhibits NF kappa B complex in unstimulated cells through non-covalent binding. After stimulating the cells, the NFκB inhibitor α is phosphorylated to separate it from NFκB, and then is ubiquitinated before degradation.
