Description

Mouse anti-human NF kappa B inhibitor alpha antibody recognizes NF kappa B inhibitor alpha, also known as I-kappa B-alpha, IkappaBalpha, NF-kappa B inhibitor alpha, ikB-alpha, major histocompatibility complex The enhancer binding protein MAD3 and the nuclear factor human NFκB inhibitor alpha of the kappa light chain gene enhancer in B cells is a member of the NFκB inhibitor family, which contains multiple ankyrin repeat domains. The encoded protein interacts with the REL dimer to inhibit the NFκB/REL complex involved in inflammation. The encoded protein moves between the cytoplasm and the nucleus through nuclear localization signals and CRM1-mediated nuclear export. A mutation in the NFKBIA gene has been found in ectodermal dysplasia with T cell immunodeficiency autosomal dominant genetic disease (provided by RefSeq, August 2011). The mouse anti-human human NF kappa B inhibitor α antibody detected a 35 kDa band. The antibodies have been extensively validated by Western blot using whole cell lysates.
