Features

The HiTector GRPR contains U2OS cells stably expressing unlabeled human gastrin releasing peptide receptor (GRPR). The Creative Biolabs HiTector GRPR cell line is designed to test compounds or analyze their ability to modulate gastrin releasing peptide receptors. When the agonist binds to GRPR, the G protein is activated, which in turn triggers a cellular response mediated by the second messenger (calcium). This cell line has been validated by measuring the increase in calcium in the cytosol. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring of GRPR activation in high-throughput screening.
