Description

Mouse anti-human CD80 antibody recognizes CD80, also known as B lymphocyte activating antigen B7, CD80 antigen (CD28 antigen ligand 1, B7-1 antigen), CTLA-4 anti-receptor B7.1, T lymphocyte activating antigen CD80, Activates B7-1 antigen, costimulatory factor CD80 and costimulatory molecule variant IgV-CD80. CD80 is a membrane receptor activated by the binding of CD28 or CTLA-4. The activated protein induces T cell proliferation and cytokine production. This protein can act as a receptor for adenovirus subgroup B and may play a role in lupus neuropathy (provided by RefSeq, August 2011). Mouse anti-human CD80 antibody can detect a 60 kDa band. The antibodies have been extensively validated by Western blot using whole cell lysates.
