Product Overview

Description

sEH antibody (A-5) is a high-quality monoclonal sEH antibody (also known as sEH antibody) suitable for detecting sEH protein from mice, rats and humans. sEH antibody (A-5) can exist in the form of non-conjugated anti-sEH antibody, or in the form of multiple anti-sEH antibody conjugates, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and various AlexaFluor® conjugates. Epoxyhydrolases (EHs) are bioconverting enzymes that can hydrolyze aromatic hydrocarbons and aliphatic epoxides into dihydrodiols with lower reactivity and higher water solubility by catalyzing the hydrolysis of trans-added water. The enzymatic hydration reaction is basically irreversible, and mainly produces less reactive metabolites, which can be combined and excreted, so it is generally considered to be detoxifying. Soluble EH (sEH) is a ubiquitous mammalian enzyme, reported to have the highest activity in the liver and kidney. Microsomal EH (mEH) exhibits broad substrate specificity, while sEH is an enzyme with "complementary" substrate specificity for mEH. sEH is expressed in 3T3 and HeLa cells. sEH is encoded by the EPHX2 gene, which maps to the 8p21.2 chromosome.

Immunogen

Raised against amino acids 340-554 of the C-termining of sEH of human origin.
