Description
The soluble epoxy hydrolase test kit is a microplate-based fluorescence detection kit for measuring the soluble epoxy hydrolase (sEH) activity and purified protein in cells and tissues. It is based on the ability of sEH to hydrolyze non-fluorescent substrates into fluorescent products. The kit includes specific inhibitors for soluble epoxide hydrolase, because the substrate can be hydrolyzed by non-specific hydrolase present in cell and tissue lysates. By subtracting the activity of the presence of the sEH inhibitor from the total activity, the specific sEH activity can be obtained.
