Product Overview

Description

A microplate-based fluorescence assay kit for quantifying soluble epoxy hydrolase (sEH) activity and pure protein in cells and tissues is called the soluble epoxy hydrolase activity assay kit. The mechanism involves the hydrolysis of non-fluorescent substrates into fluorescent products by sEH. Because non-specific hydrolase found in cell and tissue lysates can hydrolyze the substrate, the kit contains particular inhibitors for soluble epoxide hydrolase. The particular sEH activity can be derived by deducting the activity of the sEH inhibitor's presence from the overall activity.
