Description

The Golgi-Cox dipping method has been one of the most effective techniques for studying normal and abnormal morphology of neurons and glia. Using Golgi techniques, subtle morphological changes in neuronal dendrites and dendritic spines have been found in the brains of drug-treated animals, as well as in the postmortem brains of patients with neurological disorders. However, the reliable and time-consuming process of Golgi staining has been a major obstacle to the widespread application of this technique. The principle of this kit improves and simplifies the Golgi-Cox technique and has proven to be very reliable and sensitive in displaying morphological details of neurons and glia, especially dendritic spines. The kit has been extensively and extensively tested on the brains of a variety of animals as well as post-mortem human brain specimens.

Is this kit suitable for staining and analyzing the morphology of neurons?
Yes, if your goal is to stain and analyze the morphology of neurons (dendritic and spine morphology of the EAE model), I would suggest that you use this kit, which is one of our routine services (daily). This method is very reliable and most importantly, it produces permanent staining at multiple ROIs (regions of interest) this allows you to revisit and analyze additional ROIs later, which will save you time and cost for initiating a new study.
