3D Neural Organoid Model Development Service

3D Neural Organoid Model Development Service

Organoids are in vitro, stem cell-derived miniature organs that recapitulate the cytoarchitecture of their in vivo counterparts in three-dimensional (3D) tissue architecture. Within the last decade, human-derived organoids have emerged as powerful model systems for human development and disease, enabling genetic and pharmacologic manipulation of 3D tissues. While animal models have proven invaluable to interrogate questions in neurobiology, fundamental differences between species limit our deeper research into neurobiology.

Creative Biolabs' human stem cell-derived neural organoids provide an attractive complement to animal models for our global clients to study fundamental questions in the human nervous system.

3D Neural Organoid Model Development Service

By utilizing human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) or inducing pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) into embryoids (EBs), technicians at Creative Biolabs have successfully achieved the differentiation of neural organoids that capture some of the essential features of human neural tissue. At Creative Biolabs, organoid differentiation protocols that generate numerous brain regions and sensory systems rely on three central strategies.

  • Embryoid body formation (EB formation)
  • Neural induction
  • Tissue differentiation and maturation
