Product Overview

Description

Fast blue (FB) is the most often used fluorescent dye as a retrograde neuron tracer, and it is commonly used to stain the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. The sheath of myelin is vivid blue with a colorless to light blue background. Its primary application is to demonstrate the morphological structure and pathological alterations of the myelin sheath. To generate visualizations of neural networks, FB can be utilized alone or in combination with other types of fluorescent (such as Diamidino Yellow (DY), True Blue (TB), Granular Blue (GB), Evans Blue and Nuclear Yellow) retrograde and anterograde tracing.
