Description
Granular blue (GB) is a fluorescent marker used in research involving the peripheral nervous system to identify the quantity and origin of nerve projections in a certain area. This retrograde tracking technique permits comprehensive assessments of neural links from singular neuron groups to various objectives within the entire nervous system. In rat studies, GB has shown effective long-distance transportation, causing blue fluorescent markings on cellular cytoplasm in the soma and nearby dendrites and leading to a buildup of silver-blues within the cytoplasm.
