Epithelial Sodium Channel (ENaC) Related Research Reagents

Epithelial Sodium Channels (ENaCs)

Epithelial sodium channel (ENaC) is a membrane-bound ion channel that can selectively permeate sodium ions (Na+). The apical membranes of many compact epithelial cells contain sodium channels, such as the epithelial cells of the renal tubules, lungs, respiratory tract, male and female reproductive tracts, and other organs. ENaC mediates the first step in active sodium reabsorption, which is essential for maintaining the body's homeostasis of salt and water. In vertebrates, ENaC is mainly involved in the reabsorption of sodium ions in the collecting tube of the renal nephron. They also play a role in taste perception.

Sodium ion channel research requires a series of scientific research products. Creative Biolabs has been devoted to the research and development of the most advanced reagents to assist ion channel research. Our product portfolio covers a complete list of sodium channel activators and blockers, monoclonal antibodies, labeled antibodies, proteins and assay kits.
