Mouse anti-MBP antibody recognizes bovine myelin basic protein, also known as 20 kDa microtubule stabilizing protein. MBP is the 169 amino acid component of myelin membrane. Mouse anti-MBP antibody, clone 2 binds to an epitope located in the region of residues 119-131 (GAEGQRPGFGYGG).
