Mouse Anti-ITGAM Monoclonal Antibody (CBP1553)

Description

Mouse anti-human CD68 antibody recognizes the 110KD integral membrane glycoprotein CD68 (Macrosialin) expressed in the intracellular lysosomes of macrophages/monocytes (including Kupffer cells, microglia, histiocytes and osteoclasts).), and to a lesser extent by dendritic cells and peripheral blood granulocytes. Increased expression of CD68 has been demonstrated on CD34+ cells in various human malignancies including acute myeloid leukemia.
In immunohistochemical research, CD68 can be used to identify non-degeneration NK lymphoma, certain B-cell lymphomas, and help diagnose diseases related to macrophage abnormalities, including malignant histiocytosis and Gaucher's disease.
