Dendritic Markers

A dendrite is a branched protoplast of a nerve cell that spreads the electrochemical stimuli received from other nerve cells to the cell body or somatic cell of the neuron projected by the dendrite. Electrical stimulation is transmitted to dendrites through upstream neurons (usually through axons). Dendritic synapses play a vital role in integrating these synaptic inputs and determining the extent to which neurons generate action potentials. The morphology of dendrites (such as branch density and grouping pattern) is highly correlated with neuron functions. Dendritic malformation is also closely related to impaired nervous system functions. Some diseases related to dendritic deformities include autism, depression, schizophrenia, Down syndrome and anxiety.

Creative Biolabs is committed to developing the most advanced dendritic markers to assist neuroscience research. Our product portfolio includes monoclonal antibodies, polyclonal antibodies and antibody conjugates.
