Description

Calcium/calmodulin-dependent serine protein kinase (CASK) is a multi-domain scaffold protein that plays a role in synaptic transmembrane protein anchoring and ion channel transport. It interacts with the transcription factor TBR1 to promote neural development and gene expression regulation. It binds to cell surface proteins, including amyloid precursor protein, neurotoxin and synthetic decane.
