Product Overview

Description

Cluster of differentiation (CD38), also known as cyclic ADP ribose hydrolase, is a multifunctional enzyme that can catalyze the synthesis and hydrolysis of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) into nicotinamide and ADP-ribose (ADPR). In addition, CD38 uses NAD as a substrate to generate a second messenger, cyclic ADP-ribose (cADPR). Because of its role in NAD + metabolism, the study of CD38 and its functions is very important. CD38 is involved in regulating NAD + metabolism, aging and other diseases (including obesity, diabetes, heart disease, asthma, inflammation, etc.). In addition, CD38 is expressed in lymphoid, myeloid, red blood cells and platelets, with the highest expression. Plasma cell. Plasma cells highly express CD38, making CD38 an ideal target for targeted immunotherapy. Our CD38 activity assay kit can be used to detect its activity in biological samples. This kit utilizes the ability of active CD38 to catalyze the conversion of CD38 substrates into fluorescent products (Ex / Em = 300/410 nm). The assay kit provides a fast, simple and sensitive method to detect CD38 activity in a variety of sample types.
• Measurement of CD38 activity in various tissues/cells
• Mechanistic studies of various cancers
• Screening anti-cancer drugs
