Principle

This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with goat-anti-rabbit antibody. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with an antibody specific for noradrenaline and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated noradrenaline. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with HRP labeled noradrenaline and unlabeled noradrenaline with the antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of noradrenaline in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Protocols

Protocols

1.Prepare reagents, samples and standards as instructed.
2.Add 100ul standard or sample to each well. lncubate 2 hours at 37°°C.
3.Remove the liquid of each well, don't wash.
4.Add 100ul Biotin-antibody(1x) to each well. Incubate 1 hour at 37°C.
5.Aspirate and wash 3 times.
6.Add 100ul HRP-avidin (1x) to each well.Incubate 1 hour at 37°°C.
7.Aspirate and wash 5 times.
8.Add 90ul TMB Substrate to each well.Incubate 15-30 minutes at 37°°C. Protect from light.
9.Add 50ul Stop Solution to each well.Read at 450 nm within 5 minutes.
