Product Overview

Description

Apoptosis can be mediated by a mechanism different from the traditional caspase-mediated cleavage cascade. More and more people realize that other proteolytic enzymes (such as lysosomal cathepsin) may trigger or spread apoptosis signals. Cathepsin is a lysosomal enzyme and is also used as a sensitive marker in various toxicological studies. Our cathepsin K ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for quantitative measurement of CTSK in rat serum, plasma and cell culture supernatant. The density of the color is directly proportional to the amount of CTSK captured from the sample.
Quantitative measurement of Cathepsin K in rat serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.
