Description
May play a role in cell differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis. Cholesterol is bound in the plasma membrane microdomains containing cholesterol, and may play a role in the apical plasma membrane of epithelial cells. In neuroblastoma, cells inhibit cell differentiation in a RET-dependent manner, such as neurite outgrowth. The density of the color is proportional to the amount of CD133 captured from the sample.
