Description
Glutathione peroxidase 1 (GPX1) plays a role in the detoxification of hydrogen peroxide and is one of the most important antioxidant enzymes in humans. GPX1 protects hemoglobin in red blood cells from oxidative damage. Our GPX1 ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of human GPX1 in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatant. The density of the color is proportional to the amount of GPX1 captured from the sample.
