Product Overview

Description

The pial layer that envelops the brain is where pial pericytes (LPs) are produced. The human brain was used to isolate human leptomeningeal pericytes (HLP) from Creative Biolabs. After passage 1 purification, HLPs are supplied frozen and cryopreserved. Each vial has a volume of 1 ml and 500 000 cells. Antibodies that are specific for alpha-smooth muscle actin and platelet-derived growth factor-beta (PDGF-beta) immunofluoresce, identifying HLP. HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi are not present in HLP. HLP claims that under the circumstances supplied by Creative Biolabs, the population will increase by an additional 15-fold.
