Description

Vasopressin is a hormone synthesized as a peptide hormone hormone in hypothalamic neurons, and is converted into AVP. It then travels along the cell's axon, which terminates in the posterior pituitary gland and is released from the vesicle into the circulatory system in response to the hypertonicity (hypertonicity) of the extracellular fluid. Vasopressin regulates the tension of body fluids. It will be released from the posterior pituitary gland due to hypertonicity, allowing the kidneys to re-absorb solute-free water and return it to the circulation from the renal tubules, thereby returning the tension of body fluids to normal. Our Vasopressin ELISA kit is a competitive ELISA assay for the quantitative determination of Vasopressin in human serum, plasma and cell culture supernatant. The density of the color is directly proportional to the amount of vasopressin captured from the sample.
This ELISA kit is used for quantitative measurement of vasopressin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.
