Description
The 3D blood-brain barrier model can reconstruct the complexity of the brain's in vivo microenvironment by replicating tissue sections of brain tissue cells communicating with endothelial cells that cross the blood-brain barrier (BBB). Interactions between brain tissue cells and endothelial cells are readily observed in the BBB model by biochemical or electrical analysis.
